Investing in ETFs is easy

There are two ways to invest in ETFs:

(1) through an online brokerage account

(2) through a financial advisor

ETFs are for all investors. Whether you’re new to investing, nearing retirement, a DIY investor, or you rely on your advisor, there is an ETF that will fit your needs.

1. An online brokerage account is relatively easy to set up. Some offer zero commission trading on ETFs, others will charge a commission. Find an online broker that you like:

2. The right financial advisor can make your life easier. If you’re starting from scratch visit the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), or the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA). Or ask for a referral from family or friends.
